GENERAL RULES
The school is a community and the rules, regulations and code of conduct of a school are the laws of the community. All those enjoying the rights of citizenship in the school community must also accept the responsibilities of citizenship is to respect the laws of the community. Regulations and rules concerning appropriate student behavior should be developed with other representatives from the school community. School disciplinary regulations shall be adopted which ensure equitable treatment for students and a safe, healthy, learning environment. Students should be expected to attend school and all classes regularly and to be punctual. There is a significant relationship between regular attendance and academic achievement. Regular attendance assists student in the development of self- discipline and good work habits. These habits generally remain with the benefits of those encouraging good attendance and punctuality during a student's educational career. - Every student must have a school diary. The diary should be brought to school daily. The contents of the diary are to be thoroughly read and signed by the student's parents in all appropriate places.
- The Parents are to check the diary and sign wherever necessary every day.
- If the students is absent or late for the class, necessary entries are to be made in the diary by the parent and the student can not enter his class without the Principal's signature in the "Absence Record" or "Late Attendance"
- The student are not supposed to go out of the school campus during the school hours without the permission of the Principal.
- The student are not allowed to bring costly items or money to the class.
- The student are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. The school is not responsible for the loss of goods or money.
- The student are to arrive as school 10 minutes before morning assembly.
- The student are not supposed to loiter around during the class hours. If the student is not found in the class during the class hours. He/She can not enter the next class without the permission of the Principal.
- No student is allowed to run or play in the classroom or in the corridors.
- The classrooms are to be kept neat and tidy and every student is responsible for the cleanliness of the school.
- Damaging the school property will be taken seriously and the student's/concerned will be punished severely. Any damage notice should be immediately reported.
- Students should not eat, drink or chew gum inside the class rooms.
- Flowers and leaves should not be plucked in the campus and the lawns should not be damaged.
- Students should address the teachers and other staf member with respect. They must speak well of any uphold the school at all times. Insubordination or disrespect to any staff will not be tolerated.
- Any student found resorting to unfair means in any examination would be suspended. Repetitions of same will result in dismissal.
- Students may converse in a normal manner; but loud, profane or obscene language or gestures and behaviour will not be permitted. Disciplinary action will be taken against the students involved.
- Principal's permission is required to make a collection for any purpose whatever, to arrange party, picnic or meeting, to join sports or took play a game not arranged by the school, to give presents to teachers a stage demonstration in their honour, to arrange private tuition.
